Canvas Hand Tote

A little tote with a whole lot of character. Our Canvas Hand Tote pairs heavyweight natural cotton duck canvas with a waxed canvas base and full-grain leather handles for a classic bag made for everyday use.

Each tote is cut, sewn, and finished by hand in our Illinois workshop. The compact size is roomy enough for the essentials without the bulk of a full-size tote, while the wide base gives it enough structure to stand on its own. A front slip pocket keeps frequently reached-for items handy, and a solid brass snap secures the main compartment.

The water resistant waxed canvas base will develop its own creases, marks, and character with use, while the leather handles will soften and patina over time. In other words, this is a bag that’s meant to look better the more you carry it.
