Phil began his woodworking journey tinkering around the garage with his dad as a kid, took a woodshop class in high school, and then became the student aide for the class. He started Sweet Tea Craftworks originally as The Sweet Tea Woodshop in 2015. His favorite pieces to make are dining tables, headboards, ceramic mugs, and leather flap clutches.

Kerri and Phil's third date was building a headboard for her apartment. We're serious. From there on out she's filled in the gaps in the Woodshop - sanding, staining, social media management, building partnerships with local businesses, communicating with clients, etc. Her favorite pieces to make are headboards, wall decor, and hand-turned pens.
