Phil began his woodworking journey tinkering around the garage with his dad as a kid, took a woodshop class in high school, and then became the student aide for the class. He started Sweet Tea Craftworks originally as The Sweet Tea Woodshop in 2015. His favorite pieces to make are dining tables, headboards, ceramic mugs, and leather flap clutches.

Kerri and Phil's third date was building a headboard for her apartment. We're serious. From there on out she's filled in the gaps in the Woodshop - sanding, staining, social media management, building partnerships with local businesses, communicating with clients, etc. Her favorite pieces to make are headboards, wall decor, and hand-turned pens.

Franklin is one of our shop dogs. He's a 6 year old mutt and rescue dog. He provides moral support by reminding us to take breaks to pet him. His favorite pieces for us to make are farmhouse dog bowls, bone-shaped leash holders, and benches (because it makes it easier for him to climb on beds). He's the record holder of employee of the month awards.

Rockwell is one of our shop dogs. He's a 12 year Border Collie and rescue dog. He’s a willing model for product photos. He helps keep the shop clean by using his tail as a broom to sweep the shop floors. His favorite pieces for us to make are coffee tables so he maybe sneak a snack off it. He’s dethroned Franklin once for employee of the month and is plotting on other ways to become victor.
